About
Us
We are always looking to partner with billiard retail suppliers, internet
marketers and gamerooms world wide. We supply a complete line of pool
and billiard supplies and many complimentary accessories for your business.
From our past experience with retail, we feel that we are very capable
of helping a dealer satisfy his customers. Plus, we stock the products
that pool players want, and it is hard to go wrong when you have what
people want. Understanding the different needs of each business type
we've partnered with has allowed us to diversify our product offerings.
This allows our dealers' products to have exposure to industry magazines,
papers, trade shows, web-exposure, chat rooms, as well as television
exposure from players sponsored by our products. We sponsor and support
the Fury Tour at over 1,000 pool rooms in 23 states across the U.S.A.
Our support of many top players in the UPA and WPBA has given our dealers
a wide range of exposure. We also take great pride in assisting with
other tours and promoting the game among the youth of America. By working
together with everyone in the business and playing a key part in growing
the industry as a whole, we will be well positioned to capitalize on
that growth, right along with the other people that are working to make
it a better place. We have a great team of people in our building, and
this team will accomplish great things.

"My
husband, Scott Taylor, brought me to Sterling Gaming way back when. Everyday
is a new day for me at Sterling as I have many tasks to take care of on
a daily basis to keep things flowing. I have been with Sterling since
the beginning when we had 3 shipping company trucks picking up the Christmas
packages at our house."
Heidi Taylor - Queen
Slippy
Heidi "Slippy" Taylor is
the backbone to the Sterling Gaming team. Her motto is, "Suck it
up!", as she is the motivator for everyone else around her. She is
a very patient, honest and loyal person to work with and is a great friend
outside of work. After work, she can usually be found in her home cutting
cloth for orders, playing cards or relaxing at home with Fargo and a glass
of wine. |

"For
me, working at Sterling Gaming is absolutely great. They let me wear sandals
to work and everyone genuinely care for the customers."
John Barton - Minister
of Propaganda
John Barton came to us from Instroke
Sports. Instroke Sports is the cue case company that John founded in 1991
in his Koblenz, Germany basement. John started playing pool in an Florida
Boy's Club at thirteen. Pool has always been a part of John's life throughout
the various jobs he has held. He worked as a waiter, a factory line worker,
a bar manager, a weather observer and a show diver before he started Instroke
Sports. John really was the guy who set himself on fire and jumped from
the high dive. Having sold Instroke in 2004, John joined Sterling as the
"Minister of Propaganda" in November of 2004. John brings a
wealth of knowledge and ideas to the Sterling team. Some of his JB-Ideas
are off-the-wall and some of them improve our ability to provide better
service. John helps to develop and evaluate new products, markets the
products at shows, and makes beer runs when the mailings are done. As
long as he doesn't go around setting himself on fire we'll keep him around.

"Working
at Sterling Gaming has been quite an experience for me so far. The people
that I work with are great people in and out of work. It's almost like
one big family here, we have our bad moods and good moods but we get along
just the same."
The Princess - Customer
Service
The Princess is the original cheeky
little lady in pink here at Sterling Gaming. She is a good friend to all
who know her and she is a very honest and trustworthy person. The Princess
also loves and collects hippo's. You can be sure that if she is going
out with friends or coworkers it will be a good time for all. If not at
home, you can usually find The Princess at the local pool hall enjoying
a margarita on the rocks. The Princess has been with the company for 2
and a half years now and will hopefully grace us with her presence for
quite a few more. |

"My
favorite day at work was actually Heidi's Birthday. Everyone came in early
that day and I trashed her office with streamers and confetti. It was
great to see her excitement when she came in. I like the environment here
for that very reason, everyone has a younger, laid-back style instead
of being uptight. It's not a place where you can't wait to leave as soon
as you walk in the door."
Nickie Harris - Shipping/Accounting
Nickie
is the tall taller lady in pink at Sterling Gaming, and has been here
for over a year now. She started in the shipping department and is currently
moving to the accounting department, where she shares an office with The
Princess (other lady in pink). Her other favorite days at Sterling Gaming
are the company-wide "Hookie Day's". Nickie spends most of her
evenings at home with her husband and son, but on occasion she will come
out to play will all the crazy people she works with. |

"My
opinion of working at Sterling Gaming is simple: I like what I do for
a living, I like the people I work for and I thouroughly enjoy the people
I work with on a daily basis. The only way that Sterling Gaming could
be any better is if it was Disneyland®."
Ken Givens - Marketing
Director
Ken adds the intense, yet absolutely
amusing quality to our little family here at Sterling Gaming. He keeps
everyone on their toes wondering what will come out of his mouth next.
We aren't sure what for, but he uses his pull alot. Ken has made it pretty
clear that he definetly loves every other Friday. Ken has been with Sterling
Gaming since the early years, and hopefully will continue on into the
many coming years. |

"Working
at Sterling Gaming for me is a wonderful thing for many reasons, not just
because it is a low-stress environment. The people I work for and with
are people who I truly consider to be my friends and I get to bring my
dog to work with me. It doesn't get much better than that!"
Matthew "Snaps" Knapik
- Creative
Director
Snaps is the timid, resident-tweeker
who can be found in his office with his headphones on. He is usually singing
along to the music, but there are times when he will be in his office
ranting and raving about something. You might catch Matthew out and about
on "pint-night" at a local pub. Matthew likes to collect comic
books and CD's as well as drawing cartoons. When asked about his most
memorable day at work, he recalls,"...the day Scott Taylor chased
me with his model airplane in the field in front of Sterling Gaming's
office." |

side. She came to Sterling Gaming via the acquisition of InsidePOOL.com
where initially she helped us sort out the web order issues and still

"I
started working at Sterling's shipping department in December 2003. My
most memorable day here was the day I almost destroyed the warehouse with
less then stellar forklift driving. I was moved to sales in September
2004 where I still remain happily"
David Rogers -
Wholesale Account Rep.
David the hardworking, sarcastic and
amusing puzzle piece of Sterling Gaming. He loves the people he works
with and enjoys the work that we do as a whole. When not reading history
books or watching sports, David is relaxing with friends and has been
known to drop into the local hangout, Rack'em, to enjoy a beer with coworkers.
He is also a retired forklift driver, with only one minor accident on
his record. |

I
came to Sterling Gaming during the acquisition of InsidePOOL.com, and
I stayed on because there is a great group of people working here that
work together to complete whatever task is at hand. My most memorable
time here so far was spending 14-18 hour days at the Sterling offices
getting everything straightened out after taking over the InsidePOOL.com
website and getting to know everyone here.
Leanne McBriar
Wholesale
Account Rep.
Leanne is a friendly, intelligent and
enthusiastic part of the Sterling team. She enjoys going to the
local hang-out, Rackem, after work to have a beer with co-workers.
To keep from getting stressed out, she vents her anger by showering Ken
with a variety of non-lethal projectiles. |
